OOB life results 20. to 26. May 2019

OOB life athletes had a very busy week!
We had athletes racing both half ironman (victory), Ironman (15th overall), extreme maraton (victory) and many other races.
We have collected all the great performances below.

Ironman Lanzarote

Jens Bitch-Norhave – 11:15:02 9th in Age Group. Great performance by Jens. He was 15 min faster than last year which had less wind. Jens has gotten a new job and is travelling between US and Denmark every week which has been a challenge but he proved to deliver as hoped on race day!
Thomas Schwartz – 13:42:45 Strong perfomance by Thomas. Thomas has been working a lot this year but did Lanzarote again for the 8th time!!
Vicenç Castellà – 9:46:41 15th PRO. Vicenç delivered a good performance. Before the race he has been figthing with a tooth infection that affected him. It was a mentally a strong performance but there is more fitness in him for later in the season 🙂
Nich Svensson – 11:34:44 Solid result for Nich! Swim and bike went just as planned fighting with the best guys of his AG but on the run old hips injury appeared and had to change focus and go thorugh the marathon. Again, nice result on tough day!
Nick Linde – 13:27:58 Last year Nick had a tough experience at IM Frankfurt. Goal for Lanzarote was to do the race under control and so he did! Really a solid perform on a really tough day! We both know swim can be better but he really paced great for the bike and run! Even it’s not fair to compare results from different races, Nick shows an awesome improvement compared to last year IM 🙂
