London Marathon and 70.3 Marbella was among the races the OOB athletes participated in during the last weekend. Let’s get straight to results:
Zurich Marathon (Germany)
Steffen Saltofte – 4:16:18 – Just a checkpoint for the coming Ultra Marathon in Summer.
Hamburg Marathon (Germany)
Hakon Baunsgaard – 3:20:46 – A huge PB for Hakon, he was only hoping for sub 3:30, but really smashed it at the edge of 3:20!
Ruth Barrit – 4:11:34 – Her longest run ever, and a huge progression from when she started with OOB!
Allan Grauholm – 4:39:24 – PB for 7 minutes, and more than 30 minutes better than the last year Marathon. Still, hunger for sub 4:30 is there.
Vikingesporet (10k trail)
Pernille Pals – 1:13:21
Vikingesporet Half Marathon (trail)
Jan Reichl – 1:55:46 – 58th place and few minutes faster than last year, so all in all improvement, even small one bu still a ok perform!
Ironman Marbella 70.3 (Spain)
Mette Baade – 5:21:12 – 4th overall in AG. After dealing with minor injuires then the result was really good performance. Mette is focused in ironman distance, but made the top 4 in her AG in this challenging race!
Mads Helms – 5:05:46 – 12th overall in AG. Mads just got back into training a few months back. The race was a good confirmation that he is on right track.
Ordrup CC open (Cycling race in Denmark)
Alexander Normann Olsen – 1:55:34 – Finished 20th over all. Despite several attemps Alexander was not able to break away from the pack
Den Groenne Half Marathon (Denmark)
Kasper Laumann Hartlev – 1:08:14 – 2nd overall. Another solid performance from Kasper but there is more to come!!!
Nicolai Hammenfors – 1:26:36 – PB by just a few seconds but considering the training load at the moment and real goal is IM CPH is a good result.
Nick Linde – 1:38:27 – PB! Felt great, it’s just one month left to IM Lanzarote and Nick did a very nice result despite not making real taper for the race!
Anders Hvid – 1:29:31 – PB! Goal was under 1h30 so a good perform and all went ok!
Patrick Attermann Hansen – 2:10:04 – First Half Marathon ever! Last weeks been difficult with knee issues but still did an ok debut!
Morten Haahr – 1:32:24 – Just a Tempo run before the CPH Marathon
London Marathon (UK)
Steven Richard Kitchen – 2:56:53 – A huge PB for Steven (he had 3:05), and a first cub 3 h Marathon!
